Anyone still play a PWE Event Horizon? Thoughts

Really not much hype or talk of the Event Horizon 3 anymore. Always was mentioned in threads when you brought up Friedman, Landry, Bogner, Splawn, etc....

Anyone still own/play one?? Current thoughts on it?

That's because PWE isn't on the same level as Bogner, Friedman, or Splawn. I've played the EH2 & 3 before. Wasn't anything mind-blowing. They're good, not great. Are those guys still in business?

Its much more useable than the Friedmand. To me, I owned one for about a year and it was a t filling the gap between bogner tones and modded marshall tones. It does sit on the dark side tone wise though.

I've heard so much good stuff about PWE amps and Stevenson guitars, but like so many small manufacturers, getting chance to play it in person is nigh on impossible. And it's not like it's inexpensive stuff so to commit on a whim and some internet reviews is kind of a jump..

I have a Event Horizon 2 and I love it. Great cleans and a JCM 800 hot rodded channel.
