Anyone Use A Dirty Shirley for Metal?

40 watts, no cleans, huge low end, sounds great with pedals, so wouldn't it make a great metal amp?
 
I used a buxom boost with a DSM, to boost and add eq-it was killer.
 
It is inherently a loose amp and the low end can be a little flubby. I boost mine with a TS808 clone and it does tighten up a little but I don't know if it would make an ideal metal amp. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love mine but I don't play much metal.

Thanks. That sounds about right. I thought it tightened up fairly well with a tubescreamer but with tighter palm muting it seems to be pretty good. I think it will do it fairly well but makes you work at it.
