I wanted to ask anyone using this pedal, how you using it?
- You blasting your front end with it? How?
- Sparingly using it to manipulate lows or high?

My goto overdrive for 6 years now has been a SD 805. I broke out my OD-1X tonight and found this pedal can be pretty effective with minimal influence.
With my SLO I have my gain on 6.5-7 and bass at 7. That OD-x1 I landed on settings that made me lay off the tweaking with level at unity, gain at zero. Low at 9 oclock, high at 12 oclock. Pretty interesting how this sounds with low end tightness, saturation and feel.
Not one to eq for that clink clink clink open E, but it got some clink bullshit happening with some good proper palm muting technique. You would not guess this was an SLO by the low end tightness and it's perceived reputation for a loose low end.
How you working the EQ on our OD or clean boost with gain and bass on your amps?
How are you relying on mids, high and pres to get that gain grinding?
