a Marshall mosfet 5213 combo has come for sale for 200 usd. Two of these speakers are in it. If they are older V30’s. I might grab it. ???

Should I go for it? I kinda need two to mix in my g12t-75’s 80’s jcm 800 cab :)

Those Marshall 52 mosfet series amps are actually pretty good sounding you might be surprised by it. They are as good as old Randall IMHO. I used to own used the shit of a 5275 1x12 combo amp and exclusively used it for jams and shows during college instead of my halfstack 100 watter and it would keep up no problem. Great amps!

It’s actually 8 ohms!
Run, and get it. Those speakers are friggin amazing. Like a 65 mixed with a V30 imo. Big tight lows of a V30 with great mids and highs; not grating like V30s can sometimes be.
AFAIK the 8 ohm Marshall Vintages will always be from the 80s. I’ve never seen any from the 90s or later.

Not Vintage 30s, They’re a G12 Vintage, Marshall spec’d Celestion.
Still made, they come in Jubilee cabs.
Much better sounding than V30s imo.
