Gonna be raining speakers here. After a lot of clips and thinking, decided I would spend a little on speakers.
Ordered 2 with another waiting to be in stock from SW and then two from Jim. I just hope whatever doesn’t work, I can sell
..but I’m pretty stoked to hear all of them.
Heritage g12H30 55hz
Heritage G12H30 75hz
Heritage Blackback G12M 25 watt 55hz
Scumback M75 PVC 20 watts
Scumback BM75 (his Blackback G12M 75hz).
The PVC will replace a G12H30 anniversary in another 4x12 and the other 4 will go in my EVH conversion. Probably do an X pattern with the H30 and G12 style.
Thinking the different resonant frequencies will give a decent amount of flexibility in matching the best speaker to the amp, guitar and what I’m playing through it.
Before anyone does, I don’t need any brain trusts talking about mixing the frequencies will cause issue. DGAF, even if it’s true. Doing it anyway. It’s for recording, close mic’d and won’t be played in a band or live.
Anyone want or need some EVH G12M’s cheap?
