Sounds pretty sweet. He said on TGP that it was a first attempt and he has since been able to even get better results.

I was trying to find some guitar tracks from Demanufacture the other day for tone matching, but couldn't come up with anything.matt":1q213dj2 said:I wonder how well it could do Dino's demanufacture tone? one of my top 5 tones of all time...
You can download reaper. It's free. It is worth having regardless.GtarLover":16lt30hd said:Thanks for this!! I was waiting to see a demo like this. I don't have reaper or whatever, so will need to use the simple iTunes method. Sounds like it will be pretty slick once I get the hang of it.
Looking forward to giving it a try sometime this weekend.

haha, I know, cover bands are now in their glory. there was a cool clip posted tone matching a viola, def opens up to possibilities.

BYTOR":1av4i0wi said:Any good quality clip of a tube amp or an isolated guitar part of a song can be matched amazingly well. The ability of the user to setup a pre-existing amp in the Axe-II to sound as close as possible to the clip they are about to copy, will be the difference between pretty good matches and amazing ones.
The great thing about the Axe-II is that all the Tonestacks of the amps are already in the box, and since 6.0 the basic tone control knob settings are pretty dead on accurate to their real world counterparts. So unlike the Kemper, with the Axe you can then adjust the gain structure etc... after the match is done and it will be true to how the real amps gain & tone controls respond.
When a profile is done in the Kemper you can't stray too far from the gain setting that was profiled or it starts to sound fake. This is because the Kemper does not have any of the tube amps tonestacks in the unit.
