how do you turn cab sims off, etc??
I'm running through my JVM for now. It also doesn't seem to be as loud as when just playing my JVM. Doesn't sound like 100 watts of tube power. i have the jvm master at like noon and the output on the axe at noon too and it's really not very loud...or as loud as you'd expect it to be.
Another question is how should I have this set up? The jvm only has a power amp in...so when I connect that to the axe, it only allows me to use one of the inputs and one of the outputs on the axe.
*I'm not at home to look but hit the "global" button, click through the tabs and make sure your global volumes and gains aren't bottomed out. There was an issue at one time where when upgrading firmware from one version to another was for some reason causing the output volume to bottom out. You'll need to bump it up again if thats the case.
*Have you tried hooking up your Axe to the FX loop on the JVM? Guitar>JVM front input>JVM FX send>Axe input1>Axe Output1>JVM Fx return.
*I only use the software editor for firmware updates, not editing so I can't help ya there. I'd try to get used to doing it on the unit anyway. It's much faster. Plus you'll want to be used to it so when your out playing live so you can modify parameters quickly if needed. To bypass anything in the chain of blocks, highlight it (turns black) and press the "bypass" button.
