I'm utting together a new live rig and I'm definitely intrigued by the Axe-FX. Those tones were absolutely monsterous!!! Do they translate well to a live setting? Are you gigging with the Axe or using real amps? I'm blown away by what I heard in that clip!

I am planning on using it for some live gigs coming up in Sept. It sounds absolutely killer at high volumes. My main issue is that I need to get programming some midi stuff with it ala foot controller and trailing delays, etc. It's hilarious but so many complain they don't want to spend days and weeks tweaking to get a great tone, I have what I feel is "my" tone and instead of doing some programming I wind up playing the damn thing for hours only to realize I haven't done what I set out to do which is to get my songlists setup on the foot controller, etc.
It has literally caused me to play my guitar way more...which is a good thing
