Original Steppenwolf keyboardist. He just fits the psychedlic style of the music more than more well know Hammond players IMO. Squire would be more adventurous and melodic on bass something I'd like to hear with Hendrix, and I don't think there's a better drummer for Jimi than Mitch.

I like the early stuff with the original members and early replacements, though not all of it. John Kaye took over and fired everyone that made the band. For Ladies Only (1972) was the last with the original members, and probably not worth listening to...it's their weakest IMO.
