I can't really think of any off the top of my head other than In Flames on their newer albums. I'm sure there's a bunch more though...

Korn, Chimaira.

I personally really don't like drop A tuning, the only drop tunings I like are drop C#, drop D, I like InFlames' stuff in drop B and Machine head in drop B though. But this is just me.

the band i'm in, The Embalmed does (myspace.com/theembalmed). its very easy to sing in and not too low for discernable riffs...

In Flames has never played in Drop B, unless they did on their last album. I listened to that piece of shit once and that was more than enough for me.

Edit.. oh... shit, you said A#..

Other than InFlames.. Nope.

They did on one of thier earlier albums I heard, the album was in C# with one or two songs dropped to B. Or so I believe. I'm sure most of their stuff is in C standard/drop A#

I liked Chevelle back when I only heard one song, so I listened to more of their stuff. Well, after listening to the same song 300 times, I'm done with them. Has anyone else noticed that when you lick the oven after cooking something on it, you burn your tongue?

...weird huh?

I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but I seem to recall reading that Adrian Smith and Roy Z used some variation of "A" tuning on this fine album.

Breaking Benjamin, RED, Sevendust...My band hahaha

Just a few in the harder rock genre. A good amount of the tunes on the new 7D record are in drop A#.

Nile and cannibal corpse are drop A these days i believe

My band has a song in drop A, and B on 7 string,6 string standard and drop D on our debut CD which is available by following the links below.

A#/Bb,

A few that come to mind are Nevermore, Cannibal Corpse, Bury Your Dead, Slipknot on Iowa, Orgy, etc...

Korn are in A. So is Dino in Fear Factory/Divine Heresy, etc...

Those bands, especially Nevermore, use 7 string guitars. I think the person is asking about 6 string guitars.

He didnt specify. The point was that all those bands tune to Bb. Although, i think only BYD and Slipknow on Iowa are DROP Bb.
