be 100 footswitch question

i find myself using the hbe mode most with the gain rolled back to around 11 o clock.
could i just use a single footswitch to switch between the clean and hbe channels?
dont need to switch to the be mode.
i got a footswitch just dont know if any harm could be done. i guess just a reg mono cable?

That’s fine. With mono switch it will stay on the HBE.
