true, and have no problem with people not knowing anything about amps, being new to tubes, etc - I'm far from an experienced hand, myself...

but then i wouldnt be making comments like 'STILL' not working...or 'theres a problem with the loop'...or other negative comments about an amp if i didn't understand what was what...


For sure dude, I'm def not defending anyone here. I'm not down with the way it was worded.
 
It was a tube - but it was also the flanger in my loop having the ground wire slightly detached off the input jack, sometimes making contact when engaging the pedal, and sometimes not. It just strangely happened the same time as the tube going.

Fair enough regarding the wording and greenhorn posts I made above. My apologies.
