I pikced this up in may , did a pickup swap and dropped in a magic arm. I have gone through a ton of Rg's repeatedly disappointed
that I could not bond with the necks on them. I bught a J Csutom Rg1680 last year that I absolutely love , but that neck profile is way
different thatn any other RG I've ever played.
this one however is working out, it's a "Wizard Prestige" which to me means nothing as I've owned several RG's with
that supposed neck profile and they were all over the place. This one however I've bonded with Rg1420F tenth Anniversay model.
when I got it it had a 3 way switch instead of the 5 way, so I had the Axe Palace do a pick up swap and drop in a push/pull pot
to split them so I now get a total of 6 different tones. Tonezone in the bridge PAF Pro in the neck this thing has a great growl to it.
After a ful set up it shreds and stays in tune really rock solid.
I thankfully have bonded with this neck and I am playing the crap out of it.

Hppy NGD man! Ibanez for the win

Always thought the body shape with the sharp horns was sweet.
Nice score.
I take it the neck isnt flat and skinny?

Thanks, it's not as flat and skinny as the more recent Super Wizard HP offerings, it's still somewhat thin but more managable (for me)
he trem, it's an Edge pro that I put a red bishop Magic arm on. Stays in tune ver well. The Wizard Prestige neck profile "should be" the one I like. they used it on the RG1550M . I've had 3 of those and I love those necks. I've had other RG's that say they have that same profile but it's always thinner. the 1570 supposedly has the same neck profile as this one. I had one very briefly but the neck was twisted so I returned it (GC), but I do recall not hating the neck profile on that model either.
the Wizard HP Prestige is the one I can't stand. I've had several gorgeous "Japan only" released Rg's that had it and I always had to get rid of them. :(

Sweet axe , looks real pretty. I've got it's ugly cousin:
