Best EL34 Tubes on the market these days?

THe best 34? Well, that would be a KT77.

Hell yeah, KT77s are the jam!

I'd like to try some 6CA7s too. But haven't gotten around to it yet.

I like the Groove Tubes EL34S. Like the JJ e34l but I think better.,

Groove tewb designation is as follows:

S = Slovak [JJ]

R = Russian

C = Chinese

The GT EL-34S is a JJ.

Svetlanas in my Carvin sound really good, JJ's, Grooves,and then Ruby's, that's all I have used so far.

Above somebody gave the GT designations for country of origin. Chinese was 'C' and the Ruby EL34BSTRs are Chinese so...hope that helps.
