Best hi-gain pedal into clean amp?

man that tonefreak severe does sound awesome, especially mark day's demo of it
 
Save your money and try and get a MIJ Boss DS-1. My friend had one years ago into his Fender Princeton and it sounded great. To me, it sounded better than all these newer pedals coming out.

i hear ya man, i wanna try too! i have that pedalgeek store around near me, but hes closed on the weekends hard to get to him during the week
