Best Reverb Pedal, what is it?

I have a TC helicon hall of fame that is pretty nice. I still have to learn more about the art of dialing in reverb to really vouch about it's potential.

I really enjoy the Blackout effectors cadavernous. The swell feature on it is a lot of fun.

Not a dedicated reverb pedal, but the Eventide H9 Black Hole reverb patch is badaz

I know nothing about the Eventide H9. What is that thing all about? Can you use different fx at the same time like a delay and reverb together? When I find a sound I like, I just keep on using it. I have been using the Hardwire reverb for a long time along with the Providence Chrono delay. If I could find one pedal that does both really well, that would be awesome.

what do you guys think the best reverb pedal is out there right now? I have been using the Hardwire reverb pedal and while it is pretty cool, it is starting to die. What is a high quality pedal with high quality reverbs in it?

how is it dying?

cutting out and making strange sounds.

I have the EHX Canyons and it has a setting with delay and reverb.

That pedal is REALLY deep. Way overkill for what I use it for but it was fairly inexpensive for what it can do and maybe I will mess around with it more someday. Only use it for the Deluxe Memory Man setting at the moment but I do kick on the delay and reverb setting sometimes.

I've had a Neunaber Stereo Wet since it came out. GREAT PEDAL. . I've had a GFI SPecular VII for awhie now, SPECTACULAR PEDAL. . I'd by a Source Audio Ventris in a heartbeat also. It's amazing how many great reverbs there are now, when there used to just be real tanks, and Boss Digital reverb pedals..

Another vote for the Big Sky, its fantastic on anything you put it on

Generally just one algorithm at a time. There is the Space Time algorithm that has both reverb and delay. It’s what I primarily use.

Was gonna recommend the HardWire - best bang for buck out there, sorry yours is dying...

On a budget, check out some EHX stuff - great sounding stuff.
Ya ya, Strymon is the shiz, but the pricetag goes with it :dunno:

The Hardwire RV-7 is a damn fine reverb pedal. Lush Lexicon Reverbs - I owned that pedal twice. Loved it!

No need to spend stupid money to get a great pedal. If I was looking, I'd find another, without thinking twice about it.

I have been researching reverb pedals all day and then I get here and the discussion is reverb pedals ! I like my EHX Holy Grail Neo for 3 basic reverb types, and also my Canyon for the Shimmer swells, but as fek said above it can get out of hand really quick..was looking at the Source Audio pedals earlier and want a Neunaber Wet or Immerse or Seraphim, but would like to try an Alter Ego or the Super Natural as well..Too many to list !

Neunaber Immerse was just a tad short on the ambient horsepower I like using the delay+reverb setting alot. The BlueSky is cool but over the top, I like simplicity. The MXR M300 sounds great i just didn't like pressing a potentiometer to switch between algorithms. To me the ultimate in simplicity with versatility is the earthquaker dispatch master. Is reverb and delay in 1 pedal. Can do traditional in both or o full on ambient. You can get a bad sound out of it. Check this out. Link should take you right to 14:37
