Is there a better amp for Fusion Style Leads and tone than what I have?

I have the delay in the loop and the sd-1 out front, I am totally happy with it.
Now, I will do the same with my SLO-30 and my Victory MKX.

One thing that makes a huge difference, everything sounds great with my Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s, my other guitars as great as they are don't always sound as good without some tweaking except for my R9 and SG/Les Paul 61 RI.

For sure SD1 is one of my favourites. But I still highly recommend an ep, even with the SD1. I remember if was on a lot of fusion player boards when I was into that kind of thing. I haven’t used it for ages and it is great. Just if you ever get bored and want to try something, grab one someday.

I played around with this last night. I’d try and ep booster into your Astro personally. With some delay in loop.

I do love the EP preamp. I put some form of that in front of everything. I did the MXR Booster Mini for a while set up with just a touch of grit. Now I'm using the Echoplex Pre/Bias from Griffin Analog. That's the real secret sauce.

I have owned the ep for so long and never really used it. Started playing around with it last few months and realised it’s magic.

Maybe a Bogner Ecstacy 3534 since you like the lower wattage versions. I've never tried one but the lead tone clips I've heard have been excellent.

The 50 watt is the ticket.

A lot of folks get caught up in the whole "using a boost" thing like it is bad. It sometimes adds more.crinch but really for me it is adding that definition, edge, focus, etc.

I currently have:

Victory MKX 50w EL34
Soldano SLO-30 30w 6L6
Soldano Astro 20w 6V6

I don't want to use any boost or overdrive pedals, the only pedal I want to use is a Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master Reverb/Delay in the loop.

I just parted with my Friedman JEL-20 as it did not do those type of tones.

I usually run my amos through a Friedman 1x12 closed back cabinet with a Celestion G12M-65 creamback, but I run the Soldano SLO through a Soldano Open Back with a Celestion G12H-150 redback.

I have been told the PRS MT15 15w 6L6 amp might be good for this, but it is hard to dial in.

Guitars I have covered.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you wanting something cleaner? I'd look at some of Victory's other offerings since you already dig them, and they have the smaller footprint. Like a Duchess and clean boost.

I just got done playing through my Soldano Astro 20.
It is probably my favorite amp and the one that does not need a boost, but adding the SD-1 as a boost just made it even better.
I am able to admit when I am wrong.

Much appreciated, but I know I won't use it since it doesn't run on batteries.
