J/K, know you could use a power amp and throw it all on a stack in similar fashion. I was just bored at home again.

I'm sure if you tried hard enough you could throw your back out with a kemper too!

You mean eat up a shit on of space in your house?

But I agree, nothing looks as cool as a full stack! I've had a kemper for awhile and can never get myself to sell off any of my tube amps and cabs. I don't even bother anymore because I end up just buying them back again

Lol ya, this was definitely fun stacking alone.

Yeah I go back and forth on what to do about the room they take up, but just can't seem to part with any. This is my 3rd Blue Voodoo, and the V3 combo is my third as well. It's like going back in time when you get something you had years ago and jam on it again. Also pretty cool seeing what kind of different sounds you can get.

I don't think I would want it to do 3/4ths of what you have there ANYWAY. The Uber and thats it. sell everything else. or give it to a deaf kid.

To each their own, I like amps/guitars for many different reasons, but can find a good sound out of most anything(IMO). I likely have less invested in my entire collection than some people do into a single head. I like the variety of sounds these amps make. If I sold them I would just buy them again. Since I get to play them all side by side often I can say with confidence that I do not have a favorite and that none of them are leaps and bounds above any other. I've played many other amps over the years and these are my favorites thus far. I haven't played many amps out there, so I'm sure there could be a lot better, but will it be $4,000 better than my Blue Voodoo? It's all subjective of course and depends on your pocket book.

I feel ya man, i`m the same with my amps. Can`t sell them, when i do sell, i buy back again later. I sold so many amps i regret today, some i can`t get back either. Like my Fortin`s i had, gonna be hard to get back those.

I bet those Kemper/Fractal can`t do this either

Sweet setup. I've been eye balling a few 5150's lately. There's an original head, a 5150 II, & a 5150 combo for sale right now. I had the combo years ago and have missed it since then, but I'm more of a head and cab type these days.

Just sold my 5150 to my buddy, didn`t like it as much as the II. Looser, gainier, less clarity. More pissed off maybe but i prefer the more controlled nature of the II.

While your eye balling, check out a 6534+ if you can. You will be surprised. Very nice amp. Cleans are great on it and the gain channels have a more Marshally roar to them. I put mine up for sale but i think i`m keeping it. Instead of bringing my BE100 to jams and gigs, i`ll bring the Peavey. Tweaked for heavy tones, the BE in JBE mode and the 6534+ sound very much alike. I prefer risking damaging the P34+ to the Briedman. :D

Both amps are great metal amps, never really use them for anything else since that's all I really play. They would be lucky to get close to the real sound of the Krankenstein it's an absolute bone crusher. While not as focused, the Blue Voodoo is still a force to be reckoned with, especially with the V30/T75 speakers in it's cabinet. People tend to discount things based on what others have said without ever having tried it themself, or pre judge it based on brand name.

If you have never played a Krankenstein with its own cabinet then you have not heard a Krankenstein. Similar with the Blue Voodoo, if you haven't heard it through a good cabinet, then you haven't seen what it can do. If you have done both of these things then I would assume you just don't like seriously heavy amps.

I may not have what many would consider the baddest amps around, but with an Uberschall which has Holy Grail Tone in many people's mind, I can tell you that the Krankenstein hangs right there with it. Throw an od pedal in front of it and it will melt your face off.

Your Amps get me excited in my nethers!

The Sig is an all time favorite. Had it and a D120 at the same time. Insanely awesome. I've been dying to try a Peters as well. So YOU can say in full confidence my Kemper can't do what you can because I've tried EVERY VHT/Fryette profile out there and they all don't even come close to hearing what I got out of the amp. I also have only found a handful of Peters profiles and they were equally not good!

I cried myself to sleep that night, then immediately started shopping for Diezel, ENGL, Friedman, KSR, or anything else that costs as much as most reasonably priced used cars

Yeah, it can't do that. It also can't contribute to me having to have two hernia surgeries over the past two years. :)

Nice set up man!
If you cant get the job done with that rig.....go home and watch TV!!

Hey, if it works for you who cares what I or anyone else says. In the real world most players would pick your JVM over a Diezel or Engl anyway.

I wound up making a DI recording on my ipad. Yesterday while doing the photos I pkayed it through all the amps and many different cabs. All of them sounded excellent. I think I finally reached that point of not getting anymore, but dont hold me to it since I want a Framus Cobra :)

I agree. The jvm is definitely the most versatile of the bunch, followed shortly by the Carvin V3. I would say the jvm more so because it really is hard to get a bad sound on any channel or any setting. The v3 is very versatile as well, but it easily can sound like a pile of doodoo. I find that boosting in front of either of these doesn't yield the same type of results as many of my other amps. Out a pedal in front of the bogner, Krank, 5150 etc and it really makes them scream. The jvms 3 stages of gain is way more than you would ever need. The v3 is similar with all of the on board boost options and EQ options per channel.
