I am disapointed because at first I thought Trump implemented DOGE to actually address it. Then he turns around and makes it worse. I don't get it. I understand why Musk got bent out of shape after he poured himself into trying to cut debt and it cost him personally in time and opportunity cost to have it thrown back in his face basically. Again, not that I'm really any fan of Musk - but it would bend him out of shape.
 
Every society in every day and age has it's "3x5 card" of allowable opinion. I agree that some beliefs can be ugly, offensive and ignorant but political correctness has really gotten out of control. I'd rather have open discourse and let people naturally gravitate to the best ideas (offensive or not) without gatekeepers and thought police telling us what we're allowed to talk about.
