These guys have been in various bands in the atlanta area for quite some time. The drummer and the bass player are brothers and were members of one of if not the heaviest metal bands back in the late '80s - early '90s, Nihlist

I still have a Nihilist shirt from back in the day. Too many nights that I can't totally remember at the Metroplex !!!!
Nihilist were great, and the band name was certainly more original / creative, than other hot Atlanta bands at the time, ie. Panda, Smart Ass, etc. I can't knock the Blonz though, because I was friends with them

Blackberry Smoke has been a favorite of mine for awhile
