Bogner Alchemist 1x12?

just noticed this subforum here, double posting

Thoughts on & experience with Bogner Alchemist 1x12 combo?

Is the drive channel more classic or modern sounding? most of what I'm hearing sounds more classic, but maybe it can do more modern (not high gain maybe).

I found one locally, with footswitch & in very good condition, guy's asking $400, I may offer $350. Good price?

I've got the 2-12
It's a blend between the to sounds.. leans more to the classic sound
Aka the 6L6 more blues ish ..
300-350$ for 1-12 it tops. I think..

do the Alchemist amps have troubles? I wanted one really bad due to price but read a lot about failures. is this false?
