Yep. Got my xtc 101b in '01, modded to Classic in '02 and never looked back. Just a great, great amp, IMO.

Love playing mine. It covers all the ground I need. I use clean channel a lot too. Sounds killer.

I don't have one yet. But the Bogner Red pedal has piqued my interest, while giving me just enough of a taste to keep my finger off the trigger. I can't tell you how close it comes to th real deal, but man I love that thing.

I hated the footswitch too, not so much the since the fact that you boos stops workin if the frikken LED goes out.
I bought this one I believe from the classified here a few months back and threw the original one in the closet. Much smaller footprint and no issues. I don't need no stinkin standby or loop buttons

i love my XTC too. 
with the handful of mods i've done on it (cheers to Setneck), like removing the C224 cap that makes the unboosted Blue and Red sound duller. i play it mostly on unboosted but with the gain up. great sounds for everything from AC-DC up to thick chunky metal.
totally agree on footswitch. here's the smaller one that i built, in a looper enclosure. it's nowhere near as slick as the one above that RockStarNick and others had built, but it's super-compact and does the job:
