It's so strange to me. I see Carl on the Bogner forum and he acts like a civilized human being. Then, I read this thread and I'm totally floored. I mean, on the Bogner forum he is a decent contributor but here...

Why in the hell cant you just post about gear and not slam people? There have been far to many people on here that have dealt with George who have had awsome customer service myself included. I'll take my own experience and other people's word over someone who cant help but start shit.

i was sent a boxed Marshall 4X12 straight with huge tears in the grill. Needless to say, he should have took it back. I got STUCK with it and it was MY problem to get it repaired, which is bullshit.

That was MY AWESOME experience.

In fact, any of you on LI want it dirt cheap, contact me. everytime i look at it i get reminded of the awesome experience.

I should not even respond to this because it really won't matter what I say. But for everyone else's benefit I'll give the rundown.

Carl bought the cab off of me. There were not many out yet and I had one on the way. He had money down on something else and changed his mind a few times, which was fine. Then decided on the VM cab. It came in and I sent it out to Carl. He gets it and calls me to let me know it was damaged. I don't remember if he sent me pics or not. He said there was some small damage to the grill cloth. I got with Marshall and found out that they had a service center right around the corner from Carl. I called and talked to Carl and he said he was fine with getting it repaired. Marshall said they would come by to pick it up, but Carl said he didnt mind taking it down to get fixed. I talked with Marshall and told them he would be bringing it to them to repair it and to expect it. I called Carl and left a message they were expecting him and to let me know if he needed anything else. He was always nice on the phone.

That was the last I heard of it until a few months ago when he left a comment on my Youtube how bad my playing sucked, shitty service etc.

SteveVHT had to help bring in his JVM so I am sure that cab is too heavy for him to get it onto his radio flyer..............
