Bogners are hard to come by in the UK

Just wanted to double-check, you know Guitar Guitar are the UK dealers
with 5 shops covering the UK pretty well ?

Also, theres usually at least a couple of XTC's, Shivas & cabs on Ebay UK
just about every week ?

Cheers,
Graeme.

Ha, ha yes, I am aware but all guitar guitar are a fair drive from where I live and I generally prefer to try before I buy although I bought my Shiva over eBay.

I think it sounds fantastic. Does the amp do "cleans"? Or was this video mostly just the hot channel input?

Oh damn, that's THE tone right there. Amazing.
I'm in trouble.

That Bark at the Moon at the end with the Atma sounds GREAT.

Bogner is started to drive me nuts. I love this guy.

Damn that sounds rippin with Doug playing, what a beast he is. Doug, fluff, thorn, and ola, the four horsemen of my wallet apocalypse. :aww:

It looks like Doug is enjoying the Atma. I did not see that when he was playing the Helios. Maybe I missed it. It does sound good. How it feels and it's responsivenenss will only come with further review.

That clip of the Helios sounds great...especially with Doug at the wheel. I really like how it reacts to the guitar's volume.

Wonder if this is gonna be the Blue Channel from the XTC with (plexi and full gain) that a lot of people have been asking for? Hard to tell from a Youtube vid. Sounds a little more open to me than my 101B's Blue channel but I like the dual input idea for guys that use switchers. Of course if I could just find a mod for making the Plexi Mode switchable I wouldn't need this amp.

I hope it's not the plexi mode off the 101b I've never jived with that channel. When I think plexi I think ac/dc crunch/ballsy sound and that channel falls way short for that on my amp imo.

Blue channel is absolutely awesome and I bet if he made a simple single channel amp (no switches) of the blue channel it would be that much better sounding, and would clean up better using the guitar's volume knob. I wonder sometimes how much the tone shaping options take away from the original sound just a thought.

I do not think there is anything in this amp that resembles an XTC.

I agree the xtc has chewy mids I'm not hearing here, not a bad thing but different for sure.

Does it work like that? I didn't think you could plug in to both - thought you had to physically change the cord out. I had to on my wizard.

probably one or the other, anatomy of an amp similar to human anatomy

The amp sounds very good but when I heard him on the BE 100 it was even better.

This is why tone is subjective, I think the Bogner just sounds bigger and has something a little extra. I think the BE sounds great, but this amp sounds perfect to my ears based on clips which never do an amp justice. Can hardly wait to hear and play one of these in person.

Should just put this statement in every "vs" thread that's started on forums.
