Anything cool from Gesa will be limited edition as was proven before. I actually don’t think they’ll reissue the coliseum because they can’t reuse the same damn transformers they’re using in everything else right now and have to actually spend a ton more on beefy iron.
As someone who owns a rare KRG+/++ I will die with that amp. Rare as absolute hell. Debating putting my resonance circuit in it and variable NFB.

Hopefully they do a HRG++. I was in the list to get the 2C+ and let it go cause I figured I had the reissue whatever, but now it resales pretty high.

I had an HRG for a spell. Fantastic amp. The feel was unlike any other amp. Had a slinky feel when playing.
Had a Mark IV at the same time and much preferred the HRG. Sold the IV happily and kept the IIC+ until I got a dirt cheap JCM800 and realized I was a Marshall guy

Yeah years ago I used to play marshalls - actually decades
. Quit playing went over to Mesa. Quit again for a while, missed out on the MKIII’s. Buddy has a nice Mesa amp selection and started playing Mesa again. Always missed the Marshall’s. Fast forward to recently and picked up a few old Marshall’s.
Like them both. I guess I’m a M&M guy

HRG is like getting hit in the face with a rock hard frozen dog turd!!! DRG is more of a soft gooey turd!!! Hopes that helps!!

Good question. My HRG was modded for EL34s before I bought it, so I can't really speak to the differences.

FWIW, on my switchable that you played, I'm on + mode if I'm doing anything serious. I had a much higher opinion of ++ when I had non-switchables.

I'm actually pretty interested in trying the HRG. I'm not a Simul fan, and the odds of a Coli RI are about as good as Mustaine truly forgiving Hetfield so...
Also like with cars, it's always a good idea to wait till the second model year comes out so they can work out the bugs. (DRG+ *cough*).
That said as much as I'd like to have the experience, in the back of my head is the voice reminding me that C+ just aren't very good in a live band so guess we'll see if I have a couple drinks and hit *buy* or not!

Only had time for about 15 minutes with the new HRG C+ RI so far!! It’s kind of reminds me of my 2016 JP2C, not as compressed!! For sure a different animal from DRG C+ RI!!
