all of this will mean nothing to me unless he does.

I know Todd well, the first time he jumped up to sing lead was with my band many years ago, before he got picked up by Crimson Glory.
He's a huge talent and the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet.

That being said, there is nothing good about the current songwriting. It's got a serious lack of Degarmo influence. I like Wilton and think he's a great player, but I just don't think he's a strong writer. Everything sounds pretty much the same to me.

All this is IMO of course. This is definitely not meant to bash anyone's opinion of the new stuff, I know there are a lot here that like it.

I enjoyed the latest album from the Wilton camp. Not a match for Queensryche at it's peak, but much better than anything since Promised Land. I'm glad they won the name.

I bought 4 tickets at 5 bux each to see them at the country club in the SF Valley back in 1982 on their first tour when they only had the 4 song EP out.

I had to give three of them away just to get a ride as nobody wanted to go except me as they were not very well known.

I've gone round and round with Carl before but it's all good IMHO. That said he's not even acted anywhere close to the melt downs you speak of in quit a awhile..... even after being poked at. Good for him. Let him express opinion and move on.

Carl has a lot of experience with a lot of cool gear and can play so IMHO he is a good contributor here as long as he's been the way he has been for a good while now.
