Carl has a lot of experience with a lot of cool gear and can play so IMHO he is a good contributor here as long as he's been the way he has been for a good while now.

I have no problem with the guy either but if he is calling out someone a thread for making "insults" yet he did the very same thing...in fact that is his motif if he doesn't agree with someone or someone disagrees with him...goes to name calling. I find this somewhat entertaining.

I do not care one bit about his Trower/Hendrix playing or his experience.

We agree on something. From what I heard of you, you offer me nothing in terms of guitar/amps/effects, etc.

I'm not going to pretend like I know tate embezzled money from the band...but...I was fan back in 82-83. What a refreshing change they were from EVH or even ozzy/randy (god bless randy- rip). I can honestly say Rage For Order was the first "technical" metal I ever heard. And I heard all the Sabbath/BOC/Iron Maiden/Judas Priest/Rainbow/Rush/etc/whatever. There was NOTHING like that album then. (although Rush Hemispheres might have been inspiration). Set the stage for hardcore prog metal years later!

I also think the band was never the same when Degarmo left...bless his heart that sob! Why did you leave us!

About 6-7 years ago I saw the QR/DT/FW tour....and it looked like nobody gave a flying fuck about playing for us...except tate. Now...if you are being stold from, if you aren't happy...if your girlfriend is fucking the singer...I DON'T CARE! Act interested. Act like you are professional. Do your job. Wilton was the biggest douche...when he should have taken over he cowered under his pretty hair and didn't do shit. Meanwhile, Tate acted like he cared. Is that why Wilton is being a bitch? Because he was jealous that Tate acted like he cared about the performance?

Not sure why anyone wouldn't care for Mindcrime. Did you ever write a full complete concept progressive rock album? No...you never did. VERY TOUGH! a HUGE ACHIEVEMENT. The story is tight and entertaining. Playing and song writing and sound is A1. Granted..QUEENSRYCHE did it, not Tate. But I do thing Tate was the mastermind and had to give the most in writing, studio and all those night of performing.
For me...this is a 50-50 deal. Good luck to all and it's about the music. Enjoy it or not. And if you want to judge...Remember your own talents and accomplishments.

I was in a band that opened for QR in 1992 in Buffalo NY, outdoor show at 6 Flags for "hear into the new frontier" tour, last with Degarmo. For what its worth Tate and Rockenfield were great guys, treated us fantastic and sat and watched our set from side stage and seemed to dig it and were very supportive before and after our set, couldn't have been nicer. All of the other guys didn't even say hi FWIW. Was a great night and those guys made it even better. The crew and sound guy was super nice as well and overall couldn't have been treated better by their crew. Also I think the live DVD from Seattle (forget the name of it) is one of my favorite DVD concerts ever, fantastic playing, mix etc. Over the last years it seems Tate became more and more of a douche I think hitting his peak at that Midwest rock show (M3? I don't recall) where he spit on his drummer and called out the crowd. When you antagonize your audience I think your day is done. But I do have very fond memories of the show we did with them in 92. BTW their set, mix and show that night was unbelievably great! Degarmo killed it, glad I got to see him play that night, especially with the all access pass I had.
