Hey guys,
Have anyone tried using the old katana as a power amp, basically?
I think the Katana's preamp sounds really bad at least for the sound I'm after, and I'm looking into getting an ADA MP1 or a Marshall Jmp1. Not gonna lie, I'm a cheap MF.
I know sometimes you can run into trouble with doing this kind of stuff because of different preamp levels and I have no idea if the Katana's preamp output level is the same as one of these old rack preamps.
Now, if it worked, I know it wouldn't sound as nearly as good as if I had a decent power amp and cab, all I wanna know before I buy it is if it is going to work properly and sound decent.
