Up front. Even w hi gain. It's clearer sounding.

I run my OC-2 out front. Sounds much better there.

OC-2 and I run it out front. It is supposed to be grimy, and dirty sounding and I mean that in a good way. It is very organic. That is, if you get a good one that tracks decently. I get a giant, fat, organ like tone at times. It is my favorite pedal. Granted, I am not a loop guy, but it is the absolute last pedal that I would run in a loop.

In front before and gain or OD pedals sounds best for me.

Would you guys have an idea of how EVH uses his on his board? Settings? songs?

My favorite effect is an Octaver and Wah at the same time. I used to use one in front and I liked the effect but from memory it sucked tone. I'd suggest using a looper.
