I thought somebody posted it before - maybe it got pulled. Here it is:
https://reverb.com/shop/the-guitar-guru-network
I'm done with Reverb because of this. Chicago Music Exchange does the same thing, and they own Reverb. Exact same thing. No point in reporting these sales to Reverb (I tried to report them as "Fraud" but it said "you don't have permission to do that"), just go straight to Atlanta BBB and FTC.

Still waiting on a refund.

Thanks, I just checked them out and can see instantly they're a 'drop-shipper company. They have over 2000 new items for sale and about 3 used items. The used stuff would be either their personal stuff, or friend's gear, etc. I think for buying 'new' it's better to stick with companies that we know and have done business with b4. Best of luck!

For what it's worth charles, Reverb is owned by Etsy now

Regardless, this drop shipping stuff is total bullshit

I did not know that Etsy bit. I never really had a good feeling about them. It's like buying stuff from a local gift shop while on vacation, only you do it from home over the internet.

Anyway, I got a refund. Here's how it goes:

First Email:
Hi charles,

Your request for a refund has been denied by the seller.

Note from seller: Don’t ever darken our doorstep again

Contact customer support if you have any questions.

Second email: (specifics removed)
Hi charles,

You've been issued a refund for (guitar) from (you-know-who).

Reason: Buyer requested return

$(amount) has been refunded to your credit card.

Now to follow up with the CC company to make sure it happens.

Third Email:

You’re a moron. Gladly

Update: The CC company shows the refund as pending, usually this takes overnight to "post".

how eerie is this thread revival...i'm glad splatter was able to walk away whole from this deal.
