bad ass little plexi amps. if that ^^^ vid is all amp/player, it is one of the better plexi's i have heard.

I used a CB with my Friedman Smallbox and thought it was ok. Using the Brunetti with the same cab/speaker, I didn't like it much. I think the Pleximan works better with my M75 LHDC, Crossroads & ET-65.

Will do some more testing and get back to you.

What's the word?

So far, so good. Plexi vein with a gain boost (hotrod) + solo boost. Organic. Nice bonus that the solo boost works on the clean channel as well. Not messing with the Mellow/Extra switches yet. Want to settle on a cab/speaker.

I need to try it through some different cabs/speakers to find what I like best.

So far, tried a Bogner Cube with a V30 and a StoneAge oversized 1x12 with an open back with 65 Creamback. I don't feel either are ideal. I have a Bogner OS2x12 with V30's up next & a Dumble style open back 1x12.

I'll be trying the following this weekend:

WGS ET65
Scumback M75
Scumback M75LHDC
Celestion EVH
ASW Crossroads
ASW KTS-60
How do you think creamback 65's will sound with this head?
I have a splawn vertical 2x12 loaded with them
On the vid demo's i hear a VERY "brown plext tone" and the guy is not even trying to get that.

These are priced very reasonable, i emailed them and was surprised/excited at how low a price they are
Much cheaper than a PT

great thanks

I use mine with a Marshall TV w/ V30 and GB. Very good plexi-like amp with lots of gain

Any more samples out there? Especially on the high end gain with super strats?

I have e-mailed Marco Brunetti and asked for some demo's of the Pleximan into a 4x12 with a humbucker-equipped guitar. Worried about the low end. Seemed a little loose on the low E, but that might be the SingleMan cab and/or the low volume. Hard to tell. So surprised they are not pushing this amp more aggressively. Sam's videos are nice but a little too esoteric for my liking. Waiting for some neat rock covers so it's a little easier to hear what the amp sounds like.

yeah now that you brought it up,i also would like to hear some more aggressive tones from this amp
The tones i heard were incredible but my actual tone i use is more along the lines of
EVH's eruption tone, a bit more gain and aggression than the demo's have.
Not taking anything away from the tones i have heard, they were VERY impressive.

I use mine for hardcore and prog. heavy rock. The bottom end is not big but its a plexi amp. Its not supposed to be.

I just used mine for 2 shows this weekend. It passed. :)

A show from the weekend with the Pleximan. Even though its probably hard to hear it

Thanks for sharing! Yeah, can't hear too much, but it looks like you guys were having fun!

The guitarist in the other band we shared stage with liked the amp a lot and I loaned to him for his show. He's a great famous producer here in Denmark. It sounds good and are very dynamic.
