Worked on Bottle Rocket Serial #0001 today. No better way to spend the 4th than building a Made in the USA product, folks! All that is left is to hook up the controls. Remember today especially to support homegrown products if you are a USA person!!:

Hope everyone is having as good a 4th of July as I am!

I looked at the bottle Rocket specs and I am a bit confused. If it is a single channel amp what does the channel footswitch do? Is that just for a boost? Have you set a price for the amp? Sweet looking amp for sure.

Thanks John! The Bottle Rocket has a two button footswitch. One switch is for the effects loop on/off and the other is for switching between two channel masters (Volume and Solo). The SOLO switch allows you two set the two masters differently for solo boost and you can also change the saturation setting for each master. So, you can have a crunch rhythm sound on the normal master and a more saturated color tone w/volume boost on the SOLO master and footswitch between them. Here is what the footswitch looks like:

The Bottle Rocket is $2199.00 w/footswitch...

The Cherry Bomb has a three button foostwitch that adds the channel switching...

Looks great, but those mm xmfr's are pricey, and I am sure they drive up build costs.

Have you tried using the classic tone product? I just built an 800 and floored by them.

I got the whole set for the price of one mm output. Deathly quiet.

I don't know if it was bs, but merren said he would use them if he didn't build them.

I'm very happy with the custom transformers that MM makes for me...

That's a great way to the built in Solo boost giving the user control over the gain on each. Nicely done!

Guys, Steve's amps are absolutely top shelf stuff.

Haven't played a Bottle Rocket yet, but have owned a Cherry Bomb for some time and it is the best Marshallish amp I have ever owned.

Rock on brother Steve

That looks so awesome Steve!!! Love the work here. Made in America by one of the best guys in the business!!

I love how you attach the wires to the boards. Never seen that before.

MIL-STD aerospace screw connectors! I don't know if anyone else is doing it with guitar amps, or if I'm the first, but if I need to remove a board or a flying lead component, it sure makes life simple...
