Cab Sim with XLR in from D.I. out?

I'm thinking about getting an Orange Gain Baby amp and it has an XLR out with no cab simulation, allowing you to use your own IRs.

What is a cheap I.R. pedal or solution that has an XLR in?

I just realized I can use an XLR to 1/4 adapter.

Curious though what would be a good IR solution out of the Orange.

TC Electronic has a cheap mini pedal that loads IR or if you have a souncard, you could run a free VST IR loader for recording
I primarily need something for gigs in case I want to the P.A. but that is good to know. Thanks!

If you want to use it to feed the PA, you'd be better to get something with an XLR out.

The Two Notes Cab M+ (or Opus) is great and takes a speaker level input, so you can feed it from your amp's speaker out, and use it with whatever amp you're using in the future.

At 109$ for the TC Impulse loader pedal you could add an external DI Box and it would still be affordable. Hotone does a pedal too and if I remember correctly it comes with a built in XLR. Skip the affordable Sonicake IR mini pedal. I used to own one and it's a piece of crap with very limited built in memory and very slow to load anything in it.

I was thinking about the Mic No Mo as well. I don't need a ton of IRs, etc. The Two notes would be good as well.

So many options!

I bought a captor X a couple of months ago and used it at a gig last Monday. I honestly don't know why I waited so long to do it. Didn't have to worry about micing the cab and my sound through FOH sounded really good.

You may need the reactive load part, so as suggested above look at other models.

One of the bonuses I like is being able to control the mics via the phone. So incase you need to do so on the fly, you can do it without needing a computer.

Good luck 👍🏻
