Calling Chubtone guys.

I’m on the market for a new main guitar. Chubtone is on the radar as well as Luxxtone.
From what I gather the Chubtone stuff is Charvel like in feel and appointments. And I’m guessing you can have a choice of fret size, radius, etc??
I’d be looking for thoughts and personal experiences with guys that played, own, or owned one. Thanks.

I think they look great, but I can't deal with the headstock. I went with Luxxtone instead even though it's more expensive. That should be ready in about 4 months. = )

Wondering if they could do the “F” style headstock in the down low.

They have done a banana headstock on a few builds. I would prefer that vs their cut-off Strat style one

The headstock isn’t a big deal for me. I want a comfortable guitar that plays well and sounds good.

Yes you can select fret size, radius...I have one on order with SS6100 frets and compound 12-16 radius, Matt does some nice work!

He'll get back with you. They generally reply later in the week. I've got one on order, coming down the final stretch. I mean you can pretty much pick your options really with parts, frets, fretboard, body wood, paint, three different neck sizes, compound radius or not etc...

I have one currently being built and excited for the finished geetar. Curt normally answers emails at the end of the week so they can focus on builds. They are really busy right now so just keep that in mind.

I've been thinking about a Chubtone for a while. I've been debating a 6string or two and Chubtone is the first on my list. As soon as I decide on paint I'll order one. If they would sell me one with an unfinished body I would order one today.

Luxxtone guitars are 2 1/4 at the neck heel. You’d be surprised how much Luxxtone Guitars are like Charvel. I know as I used to work at Luxxtone! I do have 2 of them for sale. Amazing guitars! Contact me privately if you’re interested!
