Why are the master pots smaller then the tone pots?

What is the MIDI going to control in the amp?

Those are the new pots that have the diiferent taper. The amps look great. Mark looks like Mark to me. He looks clean.

I understand that the volume pots are a different taper. I know Rob wanted Mark to change them so the volume didn't blow you away with a small touch. I guess I was asking why not the same size.. maybe that value doesn't come in a 3/8" 24mm body. No big deal just that it was odd why not the same diameter.

Anybody know a source of these pots that have a more "gentle" volume taper rate? I have a Jose mod with a decent master volume, but a better taper might be useful....

I might be mistaken, but they look like Bourn's audio taper pots to me. But, I don't know jack shit.
