This is my stock, Ceriatone Chupacabra 50. I purchased it used years ago. Mallory 150 coupling caps. Cornell Dubilier polyester bypass caps.
1-watt carbon film resistors. ERO MKT 1813 cap on the presence. Authentic UK Cliff jacks and carling switches. Vishay UF4007 diodes.
Belton tube sockets. Shielded coax. Double tier turrets on G10 board. Alpha pots. Teflon/silver wire. CDE 5% silver micas.
Metal film resistors on the plates of V1 and the input grid. A few carbon comp for "mojo" apparently.

Apparently modified by your taint buddy, Mark Cameron (changed the input grid topology and a few resistor/cap values on V1

-there isn't a -(CAMERON CLONE)- that's even in the same galaxy, to what its feebley trying to, but failing to "clone", and not just a little either, like FUCKIN-UGE!!!.. Epidemic proportions, yup!! When you use extreme hyperbole it guts your point. I've owned three Ceriatones and three Friedmans (among many other boutique Marshall-based amps). The Ceriatones were great amps and I would like to have the Chupacabra back at some point (or a Yeti), despite the fact that it would be going up against my BE100. If it was a "Chibson", I wouldn't even want it in the house.

He reminds me that, he's more like the professional political agitators (Except he ain't getting paid). He can't articulate anything relevant, Facts do nothing to persuade his skewed version of reality, and he doesn't really have a point worth making that I've seen-- EVER.

In the old days, smart people would make things for ourselves and stupid people would have to adapt, but NOW-- there's so many of them that they're their own marketing demographic. I figure the vast majority of people are merely average (Hence the average), and a whole lot more are even stupider than that. To me, guitar, amps, fx, etc... are tools to make music, and most of them cover similar territory, but I realize not everyone has the same tone targets in mind, nor do they necessarily require the versatility of having a large selection of gear. Sometimes, close enough will do, while at other times, 'Close enough' is too far away.

When it comes to MY gear, my opinion is the only one that matters, unless I'm getting paid to play something for someone else, THEN having the tools that will facilitate THAT, sure is useful-- BUT only if one knows how to make it happen.
