similar concept...but the E2 will have a looper in it...so you can use it w/ a existing amp w/ a series effects loop. That way you can use the 2 modules with ANY head.

Signal path would be:

Guitar -> E2 input -> E2 Preamp Send -> Guitar amp head input -> Guitar amp head series effects loop send -> E2 preamp return -> E2 output -> Guitar amp head series effects loop return.

The looper will allow you to switch between the E2's modules and the head's preamp tones.

Gotcha. Guess I've played combos with minimal effects for too many years so on paper it looks a bit complicated. Rebel's my first "real" amp head. Pretty straight forward though when I visualize the actual connections. Just can't wait to get my hands on the real thing and start acquiring some modules
