I've owned both Jacksons and Caparisons, and they both have their good points. They are both solidly built guitars using good hardware. Caparison pickups are for the most part pretty good as well, plus the neck carves I've played were extremely comfortable. The necks are generally a little thicker than Jackson necks too.
BTW, those flame finishes are nice. Is there a slight arch to the first one too? It almost looks it from some of the reflections and from the carve lines on the side.
