I was listening to these clips, man, they sound great. Nice and tight, yet definition of the notes.

-recorded by a rigtalker, sjk, great thick and tight tone. love it!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r29pN9F0PZ8 - this guy gets some thick tones too, yet great round tones.

The clip at the bottom puts my 2 clips to shame, I'm a hack compared to that guy. Funny enough this is the clip that sold me to find a used one five years ago.
Great amp but moved on, but if I could play like the guy in the last vid and could have got those tones I would of never let it go lol!

Got myself a TripTik 2 a couple days ago..Haven't played it yet..lol!!

I have a Triptik 100, and it is utterly gorgeous sounding. Channel A has massive range and the two high gain channels are fantastically versatile and responsive. Very tight bottom end, rich in the mids, paired it with a zilla cab with 65 cream backs and that reigns in the harsh treble you might expect from an EL34 amp.

That's what actually sold the amp for me. I loved the model and how articulate it was, it couldn't prepare me for how responsive it actually is in person.

I wonder how many amps the AxeFx has sold. I bought one thinking it would save me money in the long run, instead I've bought a Triptik, Dirty Shirley and Smallbox mostly based on the Fractal models

I have a Triptik and it took me a while to bond with it. Alan explained to me once that he voiced this amp so that if your cab was pointing at someone in the front row it wouldn't kill them (if that makes sense). So for me (who actually stands to the side of my cabs usually) the amp seemed a bit dark at first - obviously speaker choice is a huge factor with this amp as well. And also because if this voicing recording is a dream. Not many people talk about it but the clean channel on these amps is really good as well. Would love to hear the Triptik2, I'm sure it sounds amazing.

What speakers are you guys using with your Triptiks? I just picked up the matching 1x12 cab with an old UK G12T75 in it. The previous owner said that's the speaker Alan recommended. Have to say it sounds better than I had expected.
