Carvin set to close after 70 years.

Saw this earlier. Looks like they were having a sale but most the good stuff is sold out! :lol: :LOL:
Always wanted to try one of the newer versions of the Vai Legacy amps.
They were selling them for $825
 
To be clear, only the Carvin Audio/Amps side has closed. The Kiesel/Carvin guitar side is not impacted by this as those two split into separate companies in 2015. The guitar side is alive and well.
 
I personally feel like carvin amps were pretty much the best tube amp bang for the buck !!!
 
Damn. My first half stack was one of those cheap Carvin solid state ones. Sad to see them go.

It's a shame it's not the other way around with this news.
 
LOL I read there was some sort of bad blood between the sides of the family, but who knows..
 
I see all the Vai green amps are sold out. 825 fucking steal
