I'm with him...cool piece, but the tone really didn't do it for me. It definitely doesn't remind me of any CCV I've played or owned...seemed to lack the clarity I normally associate with those amps. Sounds too "fuzzy"? Not really sure how to verbalize it...sorry

It doesn't sound natural to me....like there's some processing going on that I'm not diggin'. Almost like what a Sonic Maximizer does to a guitar tone. But...the most important thing is that the musical idea is very cool. You can always tweak the tones and such but if you don't have something cool to play then who cares?

Edit: I just listened again and it sounds like there might also be some weirdness from the mp3 encoding.

that is pretty sweet! the only thing i could suggest is to make use of a high pass filter to get the bees out of your highs.

i like the tune a lot though!

I assume you mean lowpass. What freq do you recommend?

oh you are right that is what i meant... calling it a high pass filter is a bad habit i have. Usually reduction at 7k is pretty standard. it just depends on whats happening and personal preference.
