I wish I would have read this thread before taking that survey. I would've suggested a 200 word max on posts.

I'm glad you're happy. I've trusted everyone here and have always been trusted in return. It's a great forum.

A big thanks to Brad for keeping this place running

That's a great bromance novel there, man. Welcome aboard and enjoy your amp!

I could be a friend to you....

Don is the kinda guy who'll really get behind ya too, even better than your closest friend.

I don't think the rest of us will be quite as intimate with you, but we're a swell bunch of fellows, nonetheless.

;)

Say Fella's......Jean Short Party???

Bromance continued:

Needless to say fellas Mike is a top notch guy to deal with. Mike took a beating in trade value as well just being a good guy - how often does that happen? Reverend Dan has helped me on more than one occasion and honestly - he is not only the most prolific gear flipper you know he's a helluva guy as well. It’s been tough as hell getting things done and dealing with my GAS from the Philippines. I am working hard to get the wife and kid back to the states and my goal is to down size from 5 heads, 2 cabs and pile of pedals to an all-in-one solution (AxeFx Ultra/Engl 840/50/212 Rig) as the shipping charges to get my gear home would have been enormous. Thanks to guys like Mike and Dan I can now use that money saved from shipping to buy a truck. :D

Three Rig-Talk bruthas from 3 countries makin dream's come true - GAS truly is glorious.

Mike - fired up the Ultra using my Lynch box heads power section thru a 212 cab - sounds great so far and there are more possibilites with this thing than I will ever use. Its going to serve my purpose well. Looking forward to dailing in some of my own tones!

Welcome Mike!!

LOL, I remember the double Martins (3 per side) or Butterfly bins...GOD!!! I remember carrying those damn things up the fire escape to the 2nd story at Cabaret St. Charles in Quebec City. 70 pars and a friggin follow spot and yes genie towers, tying into the bars 220v when we really couldn't figure out which way the batteries went into a flashlight, let alone what the hell neutral was. Dropping off our soundman's clothes to the jail in London because he flipped out at the hotel the night before only to hear the officer say "Chico won't need those, he's going to be here for a long time"..lol.

Ah the 80's....nutz!!!!

Ya, I remember 6 nights a week, The Gasworks, in TO, Hot Rocks in Brampton, The Clifton in Barrie, Robbie friggin Tustin..

The good old days...lol

No one told you?

That depends on your answers to the following:

1) Your thoughts on the impact of EVH on rock guitar?

2) Tube shields impact tone? Yes or no?

3) Scarves. A good look for men? Yes or no?

4) Does a black guitar sound better than a white guitar?

5) Is tone in the fingers?

6) What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

j/k, Question 6 isn't really required, I added that one.

too much Belgian Trappist Ale for me this evening:
