Yeah they really are ^^^. And I don't find them boomy at all, not like the oversized Mesa. I had a metal plated recto cab and with a Marshall it sounded flubby. Hard to dial it out. This MF cab is oversized but can be tight with a Marshall, my 800 sounds just fine with it, especially with the revoiced V30s.

No. Pretty sure Mesa C90s are a Celestion G12 80 with a slight mid bump. You can find the old G12 80s in early Marshall JCM 800 1982A or B cabs.
