Yes, it's about Charlie Kirk getting shot. And Dan was arguing (incorrectly) on what the slang on the bullet casings was and meant.

Now the press has released dozens of sources proving he was wildly incorrect, and he's evading accountability for his bullshit

Sounds pretty typical for Dan G, you got caught up in trying to teach Dan a lesson, which is a fool's errand imho. Once his mind is made up that's pretty much it, in my experience.

I get what he’s trying to say, but I don’t agree with him because I don’t think common words that young people use have special meanings because their roommate is trans.

It’s the older crowd that is incessantly trying to separate them into groups when I don’t think that’s really the case so much anymore.
Any kid 5 years to 20 something’ says or hears uwu everyday. For him to automatically assume it is referencing a fetish is because he has an underlying belief that gay people are deviants, or maybe he himself is just into that kinda shit.

Regardless, when I hear that some rando from Whitebread Utah used the phrase, I’m much more confident he is using it in the common sense that 99% of other people of his generation use it.
Him having a gay roommate, or maybe even gay himself doesn’t change that

If i'm in the war room of an NFL team on draft day, and I say "I like big strong kids"

It means a completely different thing than if I am watching 5 year olds learn to swim and I say "I like big strong kids"

You can pretend that "notices bulge OWO" isn't distinctly tranny chaser fetish shit all you want, but it is. It's a very specific thing from a very specific subculture.
