So I have my Hagen and need a modded marshall kind of amp, but everything is so damn expensive over here in Denmark.

I have been looking at the Ceriatone Yeti and believe that it's the cheapest way tho get that, and I know there is Dan Gower, but with buying a Marshall, get it shipped and modded, it can't be cheaper than a Yeti.

But what I want the most is one of the new Cameron mod amps, but it would cost like $4500 with shipping/customs and that is just to damn much.

Any suggestions?

:)

Check out the Folkesson mkV. I own one and love it. Tommy is based in Jönköping, Sweden. He doesn't like shipping over the border, so if you want it, you will probably have to go and get it.

Before I ordered the Yeti I was looking at Splawn as well. "realguitars.de" had a kind of blow out sale. AFAIR a Streetrod would have been ~400 EUR over the Yeti (incl. shipping etc.).

Elmwood, if they're as cheap used as they are here.

M60 or M90.

Some will sat they aren't modded Marshall, but for me they covered that sound and more.

Also Cornford MK50 II, smokes 99.99% of modded amps.

Talk to Dan for a solution, he bought a Marshall for me in UK, modded and shipped it to me. Dan is a great guy.

Dude, I am a pro at shipping on the down low. You will have to accept a little risk though. Devalue it for just a little above the shipping cost. This keeps Customs happy, they can charge a little VAT and don't suspect anything. Of course, if it arrives damaged, that is the risk you had to take, because you cannot insure for more than the value. Show the amp in the declaration as used and needs repair.

If you buy a new amp to import from the US, have any papers removed that show it as new. Send it from the shop to a friend or someone you trust if the shop won't do this for you. Have them remove warranty cards, manual, wrapping, any invoices or shipping documents and labels. Repackage the amp, devalue it and show it as used.

+1 for Dan Gower, great guy to deal with and does some awesome work

and/or keep an eye out on the used market, occasionally things pop up on ebay and what not but most people are a bit put off because it has been modded

Hi there!

I live in Sweden and can do some mods for you. :)
No problem shipping to Denmark.

you can listen to some clips here: https://soundcloud.com/emaushenric

and see some pictures of my work here: http://emaushenric.benesser.se/

I have a Laney PA 100 right now that is ready to be a 3-4 channel killer sounding amp. :)

Just send me a PM if you are interested.

PS. It's me playing on that Folkesson Marshall in the video.
