Never heard these guys before. Heard them today on the radio in my car as my phone battery died. I haven't listened to the radio in 10 years or longer.
Then I hear mention of them in the off topic section here today as well.

Love the singing and the harmonies. Can do without the keyboard, but heh.... Something new and different, I'm in. Can't figure out if the singer is wearing a mask or has botox for breakfast. I'm diggin this shit @ + 1.5

As you probably know...That's not the actual signer. The singer for this (brilliant) band is Tobias Forge. I dig em' too....Seeing them in LA this month.

Band is called Ghost. The singer thing is a big whack. Seems they have a contract with new singers to sing for a period of time then they get a new one. They call the singers Papa Emeritus. I think they are up to Papa Emeritus III. Papa Emeritus I guess means Satanic pope, LOL. I don't know, it's just some odd new music. I'm digging it somewhat, but it's not what I usually listen to. They got some good skills as far as songwriting. Some decent riffs, hooks, melodies, etc....

Love the fucking priest getup though. Too frign funny.

The cool thing with Ghost is that I´d never expect kids today to lap up something that basically sounds just like Blue Öyster Cult, and that´s just awesome.

As far as that singer thing goes, I thought that was just a joke and that they simply switched up the make-up and presented "a new singer" for every album?

My favourite band for the last 4 or 5 years, just saw them live for the first time and they kicked serious arse!

That is the real singer, by the way, he wears a couple different masks. It is just a joke, they change the singer for every album. Papa Emeritus, Papa Emeritus II and now Papa meritus III. It's meant to mock the procession of popes.
