China is hosed now because all these other countries coming to the bargaining table will be able to sell a lot of the same junk China does for cheaper thanks to lower tariffs. When it comes to Ukraine Putin is an evil communist but when it comes to trade boo-hoo we're just treating China and other communists unfairly.

Chinese manufacturing isn't going to move to another country overnight. Just like they won't move back to the US.

You're missing the point. Other countries are producing similar goods as China right now. Clothes for example. If they produce similar goods that can be sold cheaper in the USA thanks to heavy tariffs on China, then China's economy will suffer more the longer it plays out and other smaller, more friendly nations will benefit.

Except trump has already alienated pretty much the entire world from trusting us now. China plans 50 years down the road, not day to day like trump. You're vastly underestimating china's world trade power outside the US to influence other countries, just like trump.

That may be true also, but they send us 5x what we send them.

You're missing the piont. If the US quits trading completely with China tomorrow, we're gonna be fucked for years. They'll have a 5% hit to their total trade economy at most. They sell almost as much shit to 50 other countries as the US. They pretty much OWN affordable GLOBAL manufacturing.

Where have you been? They are all coming to the bargaining table THANKS TO THE INCREASED TARIFFS.

Much of the finer, more luxurious carpets that have caught my eye, have been from Turkey. They really know the meaning of "plush luxury" and in carpet...as limited as I like it, I appreciate that extra touch.

No they're not! Lol. You think trump negotiated with 60 countries in 12 hours before he caved on all the tariffs? NOBODY called him. He's lying as usual. He caved. He's a weak bully who overplayed his hand and is now walking it back.

What is your honest opinion about carpeting

The USA represents LESS THAN 4% of China's global trade.

Those numbers aren't even close to accurate.
Try 15%-ish and their second largest trade is with Hong Kong at about half the US.
