OK I have never really used many effects. Just usially some delay in the loop, maybe a OD for a boost and a Wah at times. I wanted to get a chorus pedal for the clean channel of my 5150. I am not looking for extreme chorus as an effect just to warm the channel a little and not color tone when off. Any suggestions? :?

If it's within your budget, I would suggest a Red Witch Empress chorus for adding a nice warm chorus sound to your rig. No tone color when off. 8)

The Boss CE 20 has a pile of settings with the added bonus of stereo in stereo out and dimensional d which is amazing with a stereo set up.

It adds some hiss but most will gate that out anyway. If I'm going with a subtle chorus effect I use the EH Clone Theory. The Clone Theory is an upgrade of the small clone. It's lovely. The vibrato is a bit wierd but cool.

Try an older version of the Visual Sound Liquid Chorus & Echo. It's really nice and versatile- with Delay Time control.

When I was buying effects pedals, chorus was the one I was considering not buying. I ended up getting the hardwire delay, chorus, and reverb pedals, and the chorus ended up being my favorite one. It just sounds soooo good, and has so many options.

The Boss CE-2 is a great chorus pedal, but it's mono. If you want something very similar, but with the ability to run in true stereo, check out the CE-3.
