Chris Poland's tone

Anyone familiar with Damn the Machine? Trying to figure out how he got that hollow sounding guitar tone. I read that he used a Bogner Fish pre-amp but that wouldn't produce that hollow sounding tone.
 
I saw that tour and was also luck enough to talk with Chris after the gig.
At that time his main tone came from a CAE preamp and used the Fish a little.

I saw him on that same tour and he had great tone. My favorite tone of his was from "Chasing the Sun." The snarl he got on that disc is what I always think of when I think of him.
 
There was a vid of him going through his rack at HRI, seems him and I share the same passion of dumpster diving for vintage rack fxs :thumbsup: He does use them way better though....

Mosfet power amp and Fish, not sure if he had another pre or not.

When I saw Ohm recently it was mosfet power amp and fish.
