I'm pretty centrist, even tho I love bagging on trump here. But I've been in the car business almost 30 years and I can tell you that EVs are a fucking scam. They're garbage that's much more harmful than ICE engines in the long run. Battery technology needs another 50 years to catch up and be viable. Every electric car on the road still relies on one lead acid battery to power the 12v electrics. If it dies, tho whole car is dead. It's hilarious. You can't jump start them either because you might fry a $10k controller, and even if you did you're still fucked because your 12v power source is dead and the vehicle shuts down if the 12v battery doesn't accept a charge correctly. So they're all basically dead in the water anytime the 120 year old technology of the 12v battery dies.

What do you think of Toyota hybrid tech? I'm a fan... Ads complexity but still reliable, increases fuel efficiency, not cost prohibitive.
